Privacy

Short version: Wish Me A Dream collects as little as possible, shows no ads, and uses privacy-friendly analytics only if you agree. This note explains the details.

What we process, and why

• Signing in (private zone). If you sign in, we use your email to find your Telegram account and your Telegram user ID to deliver a one-time code through the @wishmedream_bot. If you use “Log in with Telegram”, we receive your Telegram ID and public profile (name, username, photo) from Telegram. If you use “Sign in with Google”, we receive your email address and basic profile (name) from Google, and create an account for you if you don't already have one. Basis: to provide the sign-in you request.
• Submitting images. When you send an image to the bot, we store the image and your Telegram ID, first name and username so a moderator can review it and so you can list or remove it. Basis: to run the submission service you chose to use.
• Likes & visitor counts. We store a one-way hash of your IP address (never the address itself) to count a like once per person and to count unique visitors. Basis: legitimate interest in a working, abuse-resistant site.
• On your device. A strictly-necessary session cookie (wmd_session) keeps you signed in; your light/dark preference and your analytics choice are kept in your browser’s local storage. No advertising cookies.
• Analytics (only if you agree). We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, but it stays switched off until you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner. We run it with Google Consent Mode, so no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is sent while consent is denied. You can change your mind by clearing this site’s data in your browser. Basis: your consent.

Sharing

We don’t sell or share your data. Sign-in codes and notifications are delivered through Telegram (their processing is governed by Telegram’s own policy). If you accept analytics, aggregate usage data is processed by Google (governed by Google’s own policy). Images you submit are published on this site only after a moderator approves them.

Keeping & deleting

Sessions expire after inactivity. Submitted images are kept while they’re pending or published; you can remove your own at any time with /list then /remove in the bot. To have your account data (email/ID, submissions) erased, message the bot or contact us and we’ll remove it.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or erasure of your data, and object to processing. For submissions, /remove gives you immediate control.
